It is No Longer Sufficient to Call It "Islamic Terrorism"

It is Jihad of the worst kind.

If you would like to explain Hamas as a set of freedom fighters fighting off colonialism or apartheid or some other fantastical reading of the situation, you are mistaken. Hamas has a single, holocaustic mission - the destruction of the state of Israel and every Jew on planet Earth. They say so in their charter, in their words and in their actions. They targeted babies and women and children for murderous Jihad on October 7th.

“If this siege is not undone, we will explode in the face of our enemies, with God’s permission. The explosion is not only going to be in Gaza but also in the West Bank and abroad, God willing,” Hamad said.

“But our brothers outside are preparing, trying to prepare, warming up.” He continued: “Seven million Palestinians outside, enough warming up, you have Jews with you in every place. You should attack every Jew possible in all the world and kill them.”¹

If you would like to compare the Hamas Jihadists targeting of women and children for the greatest mass murder of innocent Jews since the Holocaust to the ground war now being perpetrated by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) in Gaza, you are mistaken. The IDF has paused their response to the brutal attacks and declaration of war by Hamas for 3 weeks, leaving time for civilians to evacuate and for release of the 240+ hostages held by Hamas. Hamas spent this time threatening civilians attempting to leave and did not release the hostages. The IDF has warned civilians repeatedly to vacate certain areas likely to be targets by dropping pamphlets, warnings on radio, TV and across social media and cellphones. The IDF has agreed to take tactical pauses for civilians to flee and has created humanitarian corridors for civilians to flee that are protected FROM Hamas by the IDF by force.

If you would like to think that the brutal acts of violence, mayhem and terror that the Hamas Jihadis perpetrated on October 7th is in some way a reflection of the Israeli government and its abuses against Palestinians, you are mistaken. Hamas’ Jihadism must be considered in the broader context of Jihadis across the Muslim world. First, between 1979 and 2021, there have been over 48,000 Islamist terrorist attacks across the globe according to Fondapol.org, A French think tank for European integration and free economy. They have likewise documented 210,138 people killed in these same attacks, and they believe both of these numbers are likely underreported. They also report that “most (89.5%) of Islamist terrorist attacks have occurred in Muslim countries [- targeting fellow Muslims.] Similarly, the vast majority of deaths from Islamist terrorist attacks (91.7%) occurred in Muslim countries.” Second, the killing of Muslims is commonplace in the region. The Dictator of Syria, Bashar-al-Assad, has likely killed 300,000 Muslims, and a similar number have died in the Yemeni Civil War (337,000 estimated), many at the hands of the Saudi Arabian dictatorship. But Assad in Syria and MBS in Saudi Arabia are not Jewish, so apparently no one cares. These numbers are held in stark bas-relief to the Hamas-reported 11,000 casualties in Gaza, of which they have not separated out Jihadi combatants.

If you think Hamas Jihadis are fighting for peace and freedom for their people, you are mistaken. They are members of a death cult, which promises them that life on earth is meaningless and the only question you need to answer is: “will you go to Heaven or to Hell?” Martyrs - those that die killing infidels and even fellow Muslims - are guaranteed their place in Heaven by the zealotous teachings of these fundamentalist totalitarians:

61:10 You who believe, shall I show you a bargain that will save you from painful punishment? 11 Have faith in God and His Messenger and struggle [j-h-d] for His cause with your possessions and your persons—that is better for you, if only you knew—12 and He will forgive your sins, admit you into Gardens graced with flowing streams, into pleasant dwellings in the Gardens of Eternity. It matters that the Great Prophet Muhammad tortured, beheaded and kept sex slaves of Jews in Jihadi teachings. These practices are played out regularly across the Muslim world by Jihadis that act in concert with Hamas. They believe their struggle to force the world to Islam is God’s struggle, and they are perfectly willing to die and take innocents with them to Heaven.

If you think Israel and the IDF are solely responsible for the civilian casualties in Gaza, you are mistaken. The Jihadi death cults build their infrastructure of death around hospitals, schools and mosques to shield themselves from attack. They view any collateral damage of innocents as martyrs that are rewarded in heaven, thus to be exalted not mourned. If you think the primary oppressors of the Palestinian people are Israel, you are mistaken. No one cares less about Palestinians, especially women and children, than Hamas. Hamas violently overthrew the Fatah party in 2007 in Gaza and has ruled there ever since. I wrote extensively about Hamas’ brutal dictatorship governing Gaza. In summary: Hamas’ military-enforced dictatorship is one of the most violent, authoritarian and religious fundamentalist “governments” that exist in the world. Women are property, completely subjugated. Homosexuals and other LGBTQ+ are summarily put to death. All religions are forbidden save Islam. There is no right to speak, assemble or petition the government. Women can be killed for perceived promiscuity. Suffice it to say if Hamas were to rule Palestine, Palestine would never be free. And despite billions of dollars of aid funneled to Gaza from the US and other countries, Hamas has taken those investments to build their terror network, rather than providing basic services for Gazans.

If you think that Israel is has ever or is currently perpetrating a “genocide,” you are mistaken. The Palestinian population in Israel has grown more than fivefold in the past 70 years.

As explained above, the IDF is taking great pains to attempt to limit civilian casualties in this war. Hamas is taking great pains to increase civilian casualties, especially within their own population of Palestinians. There is no genocide, and the only group wishing there were is Hamas.

If you think there is no end in sight to this war amongst Hamas and Israel, you are mistaken. All Hamas need do is throw down their weapons, and come out with their hands up, while releasing the 240+ hostages. There will immediately be peace. If Israel were to lay down their weapons, as many have said, there will immediately be a genocide of all Jews in Israel. The Hamas Jihadis have told us so, over and over, by word and deed. It is time we start believing them.
